This Strata Seat No. 1 was a collaboration between Merkled Studio and designer Susanna Hohmann. It stands as a continuation of exploring the simplicity of cut aluminum bent to form. The industrial felt is sandwiched in between the two panels and a molded seat pops through the top. Each layer of felt is dyed to give it a slight gradation highlighting the layers. This is the first of a series.
